Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The major objective of the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is to impart education and training to the students, conforming to the international benchmarks of excellence. The department prides itself on the presence of a highly qualified, seasoned, and conscientious teaching faculty, imbued with an unwavering dedication to their craft.

The department boasts of spacious, state-of-the-art laboratories, outfitted with advanced technologies that facilitate various synthetic procedures, molecular design, development and validation of analytical standards. The department has at its disposal the latest HPLC equipment, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Turbidimeter, Potentiometer, Conductivity Meter, UV-Chamber, and a host of other cutting-edge technologies.

The department's research agenda focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and biological evaluation of polynuclear heterocyclic compounds, Method development and validation of newly-marketed formulations using sophisticated instruments.
